In the 1960s, the students were the first group to protest US involvement in the Vietnam War.

According to students, war was not necessary because isntead of being triggered by the aim of justice, it is driven by a desire for power and greed. In spite of the fact that the opinion and fight of students were significant in the decision-making process at that time, the war continued until the 1970s.
