How do you change 1/9^4 as an expression using a negative exponent other than -1? Please show how you got your answer.

We use an exponent law here.

Since 1/xⁿ = x⁻ⁿ for positive number a and real number n, it follows that

1 / 9⁴ = 9⁻⁴
