Slope is
(rise)/(run), where rise is the change in y and run is the change in x.

So to find the slope, count the change in y and change in x, put it into
(rise)/(run), and simplify the fraction as much as possible.

In this case, in the interval (0, 2), the y changes by 5, and the x changes by 2, meaning the slope is
(5)/(2), which does not simplify any further.

Hope this helps! :)
