Passing through (4, 9) with​ x-intercept 3. Write an equation for the line in​ point-slope form

y = 9x-27 or y-9=9(x-4)

If the x-intercept is 3, then a coordinate on the graph must be (3, 0). Use those two points to find the slope. Then use point-slope intercept form.

The answer in slope intercept form is

y=4x+3
