Hey there!!

In the given question, we can find two co-ordinates :

Y - intercept = ( 0 , - 3 )

X - intercept = ( -4.5 , 0 )

Hence, two co-ordinates are ( 0 , -3 ) and ( -4.5 , 0 )

How do we find slope?

(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Now, plug in the values...

(0 - (-3))/(-4.5 - 0 )

(3)/(-4.5)

(3)/((45)/(10) )

3 * (10)/(45)

(10)/(15) =
(2)/(3)

Now, we found out the slope, which is
(2)/(3)

What is slope-intercept form ?

Form :- y = mx + b

Where b is the y-intercept and m is the slope..

Plug in the values we have found out :

y = (2x)/(3) - 3 is the final equation...

Hope my answer helps!!

y=-3/4.5-3. You can get this by plotting the points on a graph and using the rise(how far up it goes) over run(how far right) to find the Slope, then plugging in the Y-intercept.
