well it was a mix of both good and bad. the Columbian exchange allowed for many Europeans to be introduced to new ideas and crops. there were many crops and animals introduced to the old world and new world allowing globalization to occur. on the downside there had been slavery from the Africa's and many new diseases exposed to those whose immune system was weak against, killing natives in large numbers at quicker rates
