a) The area of parallelogram PQRS
b) The length of QN, if PS=8 cm.

Answer: a)72^2cm b)9 cm

Explanation:

a)

Area of parallelogram = base x height

QM is the height, SR is the base

12cm x 6cm = 72^2cm

b)

Using the above way to find the area of a parallelogram, we can find the answer to part b.

PS is the base (it is given as 8)

QN is the height

Area/base = height

Area/height = base

Therefore, 72/8 = 9 cm

QN = 9 cm
