A jacket costs $30.50. If a sale at the store allows a customer to save $9.35 on the price of the jacket, how much will he pay for the jacket?

I would just subtract 9.35 from 30.5 so you would get 21.15. This means he pays $21.15 for the jacket.

Answer:

He will pay for the jacket
\$21.15

Explanation:

To find how much will he pay for the jacket, subtract
\$9.35 from
\$30.50

so

\$30.50-\$9.35=\$21.15
