ΔABD ≅ ΔACD CPCTC follows this step to complete the proof

AD ⊥ BC already given information

ΔABD ~ ΔACD this proves ratio, not congruency

AD = BC this might be a false statement, we only know that CD = DB

Answer: A) ΔABD ≅ ΔACD
