You are planning a promotion that will feature breakfast sandwiches. Your store normally sells 75 breakfast sandwiches per week. The promotion is scheduled to last for one week. The stated goal is a sales increase of 20%. How many ADDITIONAL breakfast sandwiches must be sold in order to meet the sales increase goal?

Usually the store sells 75 breakfast sandwiches each week.

Now, during the promotion the target is to increase the sale by 20%.

Now, lets calculate 20% of 75 first. For that we need to use the following formula:

a% of b =
(a)/(100) * b

Using the formula above, we get:

20% of 75 =
(20)/(100) * 75=15

So, we need 15 more sandwiches for the week of promotion:

So, 15 ADDITIONAL breakfast sandwiches must be sold in order to meet the sales increased goal.
