(a)
((1x)/(2) - (1)/(4)) and 5x^2 -2x-6

To find product ,

first multiply
((1x)/(2)) with
5x^2 -2x-6

((1x)/(2))* (5x^2 -2x-6) = (5x^3)/(2) - x^2 -3x

Now multiply
((-1)/(4)) with
5x^2 -2x-6

((-1)/(4)) * (5x^2 -2x-6) = -(5x^2)/(4) + (x)/(2)  + (3)/(2)

Now we combine it

(5x^3)/(2) - x^2 -3x -(5x^2)/(4) + (x)/(2)  + (3)/(2)

(5x^3)/(2) - (9x^2)/(4) - (5x)/(2) + (3)/(2)

(b) No, the products are not same

Because
((1x)/(2) - (1)/(4)) is interchanged as ((1x)/(4) - (1)/(2)). when the terms are interchanged then the product will not be same
