Rectangle ABCD is dilated by a scale factor of 2 with the origin as the center of dilation, resulting in the image A′B′C′D′. If the slope of `bar(AB)` is -2, what is the slope of `bar(A'B')` ?

Answer The slope of A'B' is -2.

The slope of corresponding figures doesn't change through dilation.

The slope should be the same -2 because the shape changes size with dilation yet not it’s orientation
