One way of approaching this problem is to evaluate g(2). Since g(x)=x^3+1, g(2)=2^3+1 = 9. Next, let this '9' be the input to f(x):

f(x)=3x^2-7 becomes f(9)=3(9)^2-7, or 3(81) - 7, or 243 - 7, or 236 (answer).
