So remember that with more than one pair of parentheses, you have to start from the inside and make your way outside.

Firstly, on the left side, solve 5+2 and on the right side solve 4 × 3:


4[3(7)]=95-12

Next, on the left side, solve 3 × 7 and on the right side solve the subtraction:


4[21]=83

Lastly, solve the remaining multiplication on the left side and the answer is
84= 83

Since 84 is not equal to 83, the correct answer is the second option.

For this, plug 5 into the z variable to solve.


3*5=2*5+5\\15=10+5\\15=15

Since 15 = 15 is true, your answer is the first option.
