so first you distribute the 3
3x+24= -6
then subtract 24 from -6
then it would be
3x= -30
then you divide both sides by 3
soo
x= -10

Answer:

x= - 10

Explanation:

Divide both sides of the equation by 3, x+8= - 2. move the constant to the right side and change its sign, x= - 2 - 8. Calculate the difference and the solution will be x= - 10
