In verse proportion:-

p = k / (q + 4)^2 where k is a constant

When p = 2, q = 2 so we can find k as follows:-

2 = k / (2 + 4)^2

k = 2 * 6^2 = 72

So we have the equation relating p and q :-

p = 72 / (q + 4)^2

When q = -2,

p = 72 / (-2 + 4)^2

4p = 72

p = 72/4 = 18 (answer)
