Since its a linear pair,

(2x+4)° + (x+23)° = 180° (Since a linear pair = 180°)

2x+x+4+23 = 180°

3x+27 = 180°

3x = 180° - 27

3x = 153°

x =153/3

x = 51

Therefore, (2x+4)° = 2*51+4

= 106°

&

(x+23) = 51+23

= 74°

Hope you understood!

The two given angles form a linear pair so their sum is 180°

(x + 23) + (2x + 4) = 180

3x + 27 = 180

3x = 153

x = 153/3

x = 51

Answer: 51
