Note that "Complement" = 90°, and "Supplementary" = 180°

Let the complement angle of 32 be x

x + 32 = 90

Isolate the x. Subtract 32 from both sides

x + 32 (-32) = 90 (-32)

x = 90 - 32

x = 58

D. 58° is your complement.

hope this helps
