For this use order of operations, you multiply the numbers and you calculate.

When you calculated everything you should be left with 2 - 12 - 18, and combine like terms.

Your answer should be -28

Hey there!

You could solve this problem by doing PEMDAS!

Parentheses \\ Exponents \\ Multiplication \\ Division \\ Addition \\ Subtraction

Now we got that portion out of the way, let's work out this problem to answer your question!

2 - 4(3) +6(3) \\ 4(3) = 12 \\ 2-12 + 6(3) \\ 2- 12 = -10 \\ -10 + 6(3) \\ 6(3) = 18 \\ -10 + 18 = 8 \\ \\ \\ \\ Answer: 8

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
