Find the difference.

(5x2 + 2x + 11) − (7 + 4x − 2x2)

1. 5*2= 10 10+ 11 = 21 (21 + 2x)

2. 2*2 = 4 4+7=11 (11+4x)

Difference: (9+8x)

5x²+2x+11 - (7+4x-2x²)

Distribute the negative 1 to each term in the parentheses.

5x²+2x+11-7-4x+2x²

Combine like terms

7x² - 2x + 4
