an art teacher had 2/3 gallon of paint to pour into containers. If he purrd 1/8 gallon of paint into each contsiner until he ean out of paint ,how many containers had paint in them, including tge one that was partially filled?

2/3 and 1/8 are hard to grasp so I converted them to decimals.

2/3 = .666

1/8 = .125

To see how many containers we need you simply divide .666 by .125

.666/.125 = 5.328

So you would need 5 containers for the full 1/8 and you would need a sixth container for the remainder
