Write an equation of the line that passes through the points. Use the slope-intercept form (if possible). If not possible, use the general form. (Use the variables x and y.)

(4/3, 2/3), (− 3/4, 3/4)

slope-intercept form y=mx+b

to find the slope:

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(3/4-2/3) divided by (-3/4-4/3)

(9/12-8/12) divided by (-9/12-16/12)

(1/12) divided by (-25/12)

(1/-25) is the slope (m)

Then fill in with your point y=(1/-25)x+b 3/4=(1/-25)(-3/4)+b and solve.

b= 25 to get y intercept value.

Then rewrite equation with your values

y=(1/-25)x+25
