Evaluate the following expression using the values given:


x^3 - 2y^2 - 3x^3 + z^4


X=3 y=5 z = -3

1. -23

x3−2y2−3x3+z4 Arranging similar monomials

=x3−3x3−2y2+z4

=−2x3−2y2+z4

=−2(3)3−2(5)2+(−3)4

=−2×27−2×25+81

=−54−50+81

=−104+81

=−23

So firstly you just have to plug in the values as given into a calculator.
(3)^3 - 2(5^2) - 3(3)^3 + (-3)^4 .
It is also very important that when you plug in your values they must be inside parenthesis, followed by calculating the powers first, then the multiplication, then lastly the subtraction.
