I think that product means to multiply so if this is true than the answer would be:

5/8 × 2/3 = 10/24

Simplified to:

5/12

When multiplying fractions, multiply across the top and across the bottom.

(5)/(8) x
(2)/(3) =
(10)/(24)

Now, reduce the fraction by the gcf

(10)/(24) ÷
(2)/(2) =
(5)/(12)
