There are a few ways to answer. The simplest of which is to simply say "angle 1" which is written as
or you can say "angle ELS" or "angle SLE" written as
and
respectively. All three of these angles represent the same idea.
It might help if you used a different color marker to help see what's going on. In figure 1 (see attached image), I've marked angle ALS in green. Then if you take out angle 2 from the angle ALS, then you'll be left over with just angle 1. Angle 2 is marked in blue and angle 1 is marked in red. This is shown in figure 2.
