Answer: The required value of the given rational expression at x =2 is
(4)/(7).

Step-by-step explanation: We are given to find the value of the following rational expression when x = 2 :

E=(6-x)/(x+5)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(i)

To find the required, we need to substitute x = 2 in the expression (i).

So, from (i), we have

E_(x=2)=(6-2)/(2+5)=(4)/(7).

Thus, the required value of the given rational expression at x =2 is
(4)/(7).

6-2/2+5= 4/7=.57142857142 but usually you just keep it as a fraction so 4/7 is the answer
