solve for the indicated variable means isolate that variable.

Ans(7)

P=IRT (T)

that means solve for T or make T alone on one side of equal.

To do that we just need to move IR on the left side

So we get:

(P)/(IR)=T

Hence final answer will be
T=(P)/(IR)

-----

Ans(8)

2x-3y=8 (y)

-3y=8-2x

y=(8-2x)/(-3)

------------

Ans(9)

V=LWH (L)

L=(V)/(WH)

------------

Ans(10)

A=2(L+W) (w)

A=2L+2W

A-2L=2W

(A-2L)/(2)=W

W=(A-2L)/(2)

------------

Ans(11)

ax+by=c (y)

by=c-ax

y=(c-ax)/(b)

------------

Ans(12)

P=(R-C)/(N) (R)

PN=R-C

PN+C=R

R=PN+C
