I'll try.


* 2 (x - 2)/(8) = (6)/(7) + (x - 1)/(2) * 2

(x - 2)/(16) = (6)/(7) + x - 1

(x - 2)/(16) = - (1)/(7) + x
Multiply 16 on both sides.

x - 2 = 16x - (16)/(7)
Combine like terms.

15x = (2)/(7)
Solve.

x = (2)/(105)
I tried. I'm not exactly certain but I bet you get what you should be doing and you will just do better than me.
