`* 2 (x - 2)/(8) = (6)/(7) + (x - 1)/(2) * 2`

`(x - 2)/(16) = (6)/(7) + x - 1`

`(x - 2)/(16) = - (1)/(7) + x`
Multiply 16 on both sides.

`x - 2 = 16x - (16)/(7)`
Combine like terms.

`15x = (2)/(7)`
Solve.

`x = (2)/(105)`
I tried. I'm not exactly certain but I bet you get what you should be doing and you will just do better than me.
