Mean: 62.4

Mean is found by adding all the values together and then dividing that sum by the amount of data values.

55+62+61+54+68+72+59+61+70=562

562÷9=62.4

Median: 61

The median of a data set is found by first putting all the values in order from least to greatest. Since the amount of values is an odd number, 9, the middle number is the median; which is 61.

Range: 18

Range is found by subtracting the lowest value from the highest value in the data set.

72-54=18

1. Mean = 55+62+61+54+68+72+59+61+70, then divide by 9, the number of values you added together. So, 529/ 9 equals

= 62.44

2. Median = 68 ( the median is the middle value)

3. Range = 72 - 54 ( the range is the difference between the lowest and highest value.

So, 72 - 54 = 18
