Hello!

In order to find the slope of a linear equation, you need two ordered pairs from the graph.

Once you have the two ordered pairs, you use the slope formula to find the slope. The formula is:
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1)).

With that formula, you assign the ordered pairs to
y_(2),
y_(1),
x_(2), and
x_(1).

Note that
x_(1) and
y_(1) must be assigned to one of the ordered pairs.
x_(2) and
y_(2) is assigned to the other ordered pair.

Then, you substitute the assigned ordered pairs into the formula and solve for the slope.
