Kyle purchased a padlock with a resettable combination that uses 3 digits from 0 through 9 that must be entered in the proper Order. A digit may be repeated in the combination. Which expression shows the total number of possible combinations for the padlock?

In the first position we have 10 possible numbers, and the same for the 2nd and 3rd positions becuase the numbers are replaced, so our answer is
10^3=1000 because of the multiplication rule.
