The equation would be T(turkey sandwichs) + H(ham sandwhichs) =

(H+32)+H=46

2H=14

H=7

The cafeteria sold 7 ham sandwhichs

Hello!

Let's write this as a system of equations.

t= 32+h

t+h=46

Let's plug in our t value and solve for h.

32+h+h=46

32+2h=46

Let's subtract 32 from both sides.

2h=14

We divide both sides by 2.

h=7

Therefore, they sold 7 ham sandwiches.

I hope this helps!
