AP and PH are congruent. Thus we can set up and equation: 2f - 5 = 5f - 17 and solve for f. We see that f = 4. MP and PT are congruent. So we set up another equation: f + 2 = g and substitute 4 in for f. g = 6 and we can then finish the equation from before and find MT = 12.

since f=4 and 4+2=6 and 6x2=12

so the answer is D. 12
