It has no solution because it has the same slope. So, that means they are parallel lines.

Both x and y are equal, so you can’t eliminate either to find what one of the letters are equal to. As x + 2y = x + 2y, it implies that 8 = 20, meaning there is no solution^^ Hope that makes sense, lol
