P(x,\ y),\ r=√(x^2+y^2)\\\\\cos\theta=(x)/(r)

(-9,\ -5)\to x=-9,\ y=-5\\\\r=√((-9)^2+(-5)^2)=√(81+25)=√(106)\\\\\cos\theta=(-9)/(√(106))
