1.6x − 2.2 = 1.4x

add 2.2 to both sides

1.6x − 2.2 + 2.2 = 1.4x + 2.2

simplifying

1.6x = 1.4x + 2.2

subtract 1.4x from both sides

1.6x - 1.4x = 1.4x + 2.2 - 1.4x

simplifying

0.2x = 2.2

answer

D) 0.2x= 2.2
