The z-score is calculated as -

Z-score = (X - mean) / Standard deviation

Given,

Mean = $ 3100

Standard deviation = $ 1,200

X = 2,300

Z-score = (2300 - 3100) / 1200 = - 0.67

Thus, Z-score = - 0.67
