35 points! plz help ASAP<br />I have worked the problem<br />a-(2+3) =-2<br />

to a-5=-2<br />
I don't know how to bring my equation down further, PLZ help!

a-(\underbrace{2+3}_(5))=-2\\\\a-5=-2\ \ \ \ |\text{add 5 to both sides}\\\\a-5+5=-2+5\\\\a=3


Answer: a = 3

a-(2+3)=-2

a-5=-2

a=3

You add 5 to -2 to get your answer.
