Determine
`Q(x_2,y_2)`

To do this, we make use of the mid-point formula:

`M(x,y) = ((x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2))`

Substitute values for x, y, x1 and y1

`(5,6) = ((1+x_2)/(2),(1+y_2)/(2))`

Multiply through by 2

`2 * (5,6) = ((1+x_2)/(2),(1+y_2)/(2)) * 2`

`(10,12) = (1+x_2,1+y_2)`

By comparison:

`10 = 1 + x_2`

`x_2 = 10 - 1`

`x_2 = 9`

`12 = 1 + y_2`

`y_2 = 12 - 1`

`y_2 = 11`

Hence, the coordinates of Q is (9,11)
