y = -5 and 0

difference = 0 - (-5) = 5

y = 5 and 0 5 - 0 = 5

Table (2)

y = 5 and 10

difference = 10 - 5 = 5

y = 20 and 10

20 - 10 = 10

Therefore, table 2 does not represent linear function.

Table (3)

y = -5 and 10

difference = 10 - (-5) = 15

y = -15 and 10

10 - ( -15) = 25

This table is not for a linear function.

Table (4)

y = 9 and 5

difference = 5 - 9 = (-4)

y = 5 and 9

difference = 9 -5 = 4

so difference is not common

Therefore, table 4 will also not represent a linear function.
