Greetings!

To simply this expression, we have to follow our Order of Operations using the mnemonic, PEDMAS:

P→ Parenthesis (Complete everything inside the brackets)

E→ Exponents

D→ Division

M→ Multiplication

A→ Addition

S→ Subtraction

Let's try to the simply the expression now:

=8^2-(7(4+5))

Complete the the addition within the innermost parenthesis:

=8^2-(7(9))

Multiply the terms within the parenthesis:

=8^2-(63)

Find the exponent of 2 in 8:

=64-(63)

Subtract the remaining terms:

=1

The Simplified form of this Expression is:

\boxed{=1}

I hope this helped!
