The simplified form is
(4)/(5y)

In order to find this, we need to treat each part of the term separately. Firstly, we'll handle the coefficients.

(8)/(10) ---> And then we simplify

(4)/(5)

Now we handle the x terms.

(x^(2))/(x^(2)) ----> Then we simplify

1

Now we handle the y terms

(y^(2))/(y^(3)) ---> The we simplify.

(1)/(y)

Now that we have all of these simplified forms, we multiply them back together.

(4)/(5) * 1 * (1)/(y) = (4)/(5y)
