PLZ ANSWER ASAP!

The function f(x) = x2 + 10x – 3 written in vertex form is f(x) = (x + 5)2 – 28. What are the coordinates of the vertex? A: (–5, –28) B: (–5, 28) C: (5, –28) D: (5, 28)

Well x^2+10x-3 is a quadratic so we are looking for its lowest point (minimum). If you graph it the answer is (-5, -28) so A. You can do it algebraicallly (x+5)=0. X=-5 and look at -28 for y. Either way you get A as the local minimum/ lowest point of graph.
