Well x^2+10x-3 is a quadratic so we are looking for its lowest point (minimum). If you graph it the answer is (-5, -28) so
A.
You can do it algebraicallly (x+5)=0. X=-5 and look at -28 for y. Either way you get A as the local minimum/ lowest point of graph.
