First rewrite in the form ax² + bx + c = 0
So a=2, b=0 (there are no x terms!) and c = 10-4=6.

x = +-√-(4*2*6) / 2*2 = +- √-48 / 4 = +-√(-3*16) / 4 = +-i√3

The solutions are imaginary. Are you sure there is no typo in the equation?
