If the area of a square is represented by the formula a = s2, and the area a = 64 sq cm (square centimeters), what is the side s of the square?

Answer: S=8

Explanation:

In the actual question s2 is supposed to mean S squared so it would read A=S squared and the area is A=64 sq cm so 8 squared is 64 this the answer is S=8
