Hi!

To solve this, we have to cross multiply.

Cross multiplying. is when you multiply the numerator of fraction A by the denominator of fraction B, then divide it by the denominator of fraction A. The answer will be the numerator of fraction B.

(x)/(5) * (3)/(6)
5 * 3 = 15
15/6 = 2.5

(2.5)/(5)

So we know that x = 2.5. We also know that when we multiply 3 * 5, or 6 * 2.5 = 15. Which would mean that the answer is

A. 6x = 15

Hope this helps!
