Hi!
To solve this, we have to cross multiply.Cross multiplying. is when you multiply
the numerator of fraction A by the
denominator of fraction B, then divide it by the denominator of fraction A. The answer will be the numerator of fraction B.
![(x)/(5) * (3)/(6)](https://img.qammunity.org/2019/formulas/mathematics/middle-school/wdrmbq54khqo953k00u6u2g1xrtzohfhyf.png)
5 * 3 = 15
15/6 = 2.5
![(2.5)/(5)](https://img.qammunity.org/2019/formulas/mathematics/middle-school/4ximdzozuom2fxbnbzumni33mucxa7otpv.png)
So we know that x = 2.5. We also know that when we multiply 3 * 5, or 6 * 2.5 = 15. Which would mean that the answer is
A. 6x = 15
Hope this helps!
