In some states, medical marijuana is legal. This means that people who need to take marijuana because of a medical condition may take it only with approval from the doctor. However, officers still advise these people not to drive while under the influence. What is the main reason for this?

The reason for this is that these people are still under the influence and if they are caught driving could receive a DUI for their actions. Driving while taking drugs is unsafe and should not be done. Even though marijuana has no horrible side effects like alcohol it still impairs driving with the effect of slow reaction time.
